The adding of textures!




Adding more life to the game, textures and Shader were eventually used. Although it could have been done, i used the software, 'Materialize' to convert a lot of my base textures into normal, height, materialistic and Ao maps to be used inside Unity. The software allowed for easier visualisation of the textures combined and separated easily seeing each of the map's effect.  I also tested out some of graph shader inside unity as well to add some further visual interest. A Fresnel effect was used to add some glow around the texture edges which was multiplied with a color of my own choosing to add it on top of the Fresnel Effect.  With multiplication to a remap nod plus a time nod, the grow from the Fresnel's size changed dependant on the time which i thought created a cool effect and a fun experimentation.
